DIMENSION invests in PIVOT, operator of the business video media “PIVOT”

DIMENSION, Inc. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takamitsu Miyaso; hereafter, DIMENSION)　announces its investment in PIVOT Corporation (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Norihiko Sasaki; hereafter, PIVOT), which produces and manages the business video media “PIVOT”.

PIVOT is a company that provides creative content for society and individuals to pivot, based on the belief that “what is crucial for Japan is to pivot (change direction) and generate new businesses and hopes, through adults continuing to learn enthusiastically and challenging themselves with work that suits them and the times.”

“PIVOT,” which revolves around video programs, is a business video media that delivers content from entrepreneurs, business professionals, and creators representing Japan’s Reiwa era on a daily basis. In particular, the official PIVOT YouTube channel, launched in June 2022, achieved 100,000 subscribers within six months and has since continued its rapid growth. Currently, interest is growing over the prospect of reaching 1 million subscribers (as of September 2023).

Through our support for other companies in similar or adjacent areas, such as Cover, which went public in March 2023, DIMENSION has had firsthand experience of the potential in this field. In the case of PIVOT, we were drawn to the team of media content professionals, their high level of content production capabilities, as well as their track record and future growth potential. Taking these factors into consideration, we believe that with its expertise, the company can offer deep learning and insights to many in the “business x video” field. Hence, we have decided to invest in PIVOT.

Through this investment, DIMENSION will support PIVOT’s mission of “pivoting Japan.” Specifically, we plan to provide support in terms of deploying the knowledge we have developed through our support for other companies, assisting in organizational development, and offering mentoring. Furthermore, we will continue to invest in and support entrepreneurs who are dedicated and sincere in their management efforts.
