DIMENSION invests in Utaite, a specialist in producing 2.5D IP

DIMENSION Corporation (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takamitsu Miyaso; hereafter, DIMENSION) announces its investment in Utaite Co., Ltd., which specializes in 2.5-dimensional IP development and operations. (headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masashi Kurata; hereafter, Utaite).

Established in December 2022, Utaite aims to reach the world from Japan’s new “entertainment economic sphere” by continuously producing and expanding 2.5-dimensional IP. In this era of individuals playing active roles in IP??, the company aspires to become a “platform” that supports creators’ activities and maximizes opportunities for fan enjoyment of online entertainment??, thereby promoting individual self-realization.

In the future, Utaite plans to further enhance its “platform” as a community, creating a comfortable space for as many fans as possible. This will involve activities such as 2.5D IP development, operation, expansion, hosting live events, and building the platform itself.

Utaite has a mechanism that allows creators to continue their activities comfortably and enables fans to feel closer to those activities. DIMENSION believes that by Utaite continuously producing 2.5D IPs, the company has the potential to create IPs that represent for Japan, further elevating Japan’s entertainment industry. Additionally, we decided to invest in Utaite as we anticipate that its operations will further expand Japan’s unique entertainment industry, including anime and idols, and enable it to expand globally in the future.

Through this investment, DIMENSION will support Utaite’s mission of “creating a platform that produces content that fascinates the world.” Furthermore, we will continue to invest in and support entrepreneurs who are dedicated and sincere in their management efforts.
